Author Guidelines

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check the following items:

  1. The full-length article to be submitted for possible publication in CMA has neither been published nor submitted for possible publication elsewhere.
  2. The article should not be more than fifteen (15) pages including References as per the journal's template.
  3. The first page of the manuscript should contain: 
    • The title of the research paper.
    • Name(s) of the author(s) together with the academic affiliation(s), e-mail address(es) and ORCID id(s).
    • An abstract not exceeding 250 words. By nature, Abstracts shall not contain numbered mathematical equations nor numbered references. Numbered reference citations are not allowed.
    • Keywords and phrases.
    • 2020 AMS Subject Classifications. 
    • Article type: Research article or Survey article or Book Review or Case Study or Thesis Abstract or Bibliographic work
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate places, rather than at the end.
  5. References should be given at the end of the manuscript. These references should be listed in alphabetic order; the surname(s) of the author(s) appearing at the end and cited in the whole text e.g. [1], [2], etc.
  6. If the Reference entry includes a DOI for the article, use the DOI number at the end. If there is no DOI, include the URL of the published article. DOI/URL should be hyperlinked directly to the journal's/publisher's website.
  7. All references listed in "References" must have complete publication details and must be cited in the text portion of the article.  References that have the status of 'submitted', 'communicated', 'in press', 'to appear', 'accepted', 'unpublished', 'preprint', etc. should not be included in the section 'References'.
  8. References of the articles available only on ResearchGate, Academia and similar kinds of third-party websites may be included as footnotes on the respective page in the text, not in the section References.

  10. Mandatory files to be submitted/uploaded at the of submission:
    • File 1: Full length article (in pdf format)
    • File 2: Cover letter (in pdf format)
    • File 3: iThenticate Plagiarism Report (in pdf format)
  11. The manuscript must be submitted electronically in PDF format along with cover letter via Online Submission System ->  
  12. Note: The submitted article is subjected to a plagiarism scan before the refereeing process.
  13. Upon Acceptance: Once an article is accepted, the Publisher will require a digital file of the article either in MS Word or in LaTeX format along with associated figure files.
  14. Manuscript Processing Charges will be billed to the submitting author upon acceptance of the article for publication as follows:
    • Foreign Authors: US$200 per article (inclusive of all taxes).
    • Indian Authors: INR 10000 per article (inclusive of all taxes).

Note: If the author's institute is a subscriber of this journal then the author will not be subjected to any manuscript processing charges.
